Welcome, traveler, to Port Kar, the legendary pirate city on the shores of Thassa, the great sea. Forget the gleaming towers and rigid social order of other Gorean cities. Here, a different set of rules applies—or rather, a beautiful and dangerous lack of them. Port Kar is the “Scourge of Thassa,” anarchic and infamous; the magnet for freebooters, thieves, and slaves. It's a vast, disjointed maze of fortified holdings piled one upon another, separated by hundreds of foul-smelling canals.

The air in Port Kar is thick with the smells of salt, fish, old tar, and a hundred other things you can't quite place. It's a humid, tropical climate where the heat hangs heavy, and the sounds of the city are a constant, raucous din: the shouts of merchants, the clatter of swords, the cries of gulls, and the rhythmic groan of ropes and timbers from the hundreds of ships crowding the harbor. The city is a study in decay and defiant life, with its labyrinthine streets and windowless, thick-walled buildings facing the sea. Its only true wall is the immense and impassable Vosk delta marsh that surrounds it on the landward side.

Port Kar is ruled not by a single Ubar but by the Council of Captains, a cutthroat group of the most powerful ship captains and fleet owners. Their authority is a matter of respect and force, and every citizen knows that their survival depends on their own cunning and strength. This is a place for those who refuse the rigid caste system of other cities. Here, a man's worth is measured by his fleet, his gold, and the loyalty of his crew—not the color of his caste mark.

This is a space for free men of all stripes: pirates, traders, mercenaries, assassins, and any other scoundrel looking to make a name or fortune. It's also a place for their slaves, known as kajirae, who often find themselves in a precarious position, subject to the whims of their masters and the general lawlessness of the port. The chains of a slave girl are said to be heaviest here, yet some also claim to have found a strange kind of liberation in the city’s chaos.

 Discussions/roleplay of underage play will not be allowed. If caught your access will be removed, you will be banned from the entire site, and Authorities will be notitifed.

No Animated Avatars and keep all Avatars no bigger than 550 in height.
