update on starlightchat changes

Just a quick update. March is not that far off. To anyone who is making changes on their entry pages, pulldowns, uploading avs we want to send out a quick reminder that on Feb. 10th we will be doing the backing up of everything. So please be sure to do no more changes until after the move. This is giving us time to make the changes to the files that is needed.

Quick reminder again that Dark Realms Chat (www.darkrealmschat.com) will be closing and moving to here on Starlight Chat. All rooms and sections that are currently there will be combined into one site.

During the first part of March starlight chat will be down as well do to DNS changes, and a few updates on the server. During this time we hope that you remain patient with us. We will post updates on facebook, and on twitter in order to insure everyone the progress of these changes. You can find the links to both facebook and twitter here on the site at the bottom of all pages on the site.

I been getting a few messages lately stating that My hotmail has been sending out spam, I changed my password recently in hopes to help settle this. But just in case I am going to warn everyone if you get a email from me from a hotmail account just delete message because I never use hotmail to send out messages.

I been getting a few from paying members on the site as well. SO make sure to change up your password every once in a while everyone!

Just a few more tweaks is needed on the new look for the site. Once those are done I’ll be able to move onto other projects that has been waiting. Thank you everyone for your patience this has been a struggling year for me personally so having that said its been tough catching up on things.

I am still working hard on updating the entire look of the site. You might notice somethings is missing here and there while I work as quick as I can on updating the entire site look to the new theme. All working links can be viewed from the bottom of all pages but the Users Online page since I decided to separate it out from the actual “blog” like feel of the theme.

During the entire month of September, Starlight Chat will be going back to a very old look of our site for the Users Online list. Everything else will remain the same accept for the Users Online page. It will redirect to a special old setup. This is to celebrate yet another year for the site!

lifestyles section for Starlight Chat?

We are considering placing up a new chat section on Starlight Chat that would be named “Lifestyles”. This would allow some theme rooms of different lifestyles one might be involved in or interested in. We want your thoughts! you can send them to David at david [at] starlightchat.com
